What Becomes of Old Origami Models

I’m gradually getting myself up and working after necessary but ear-splitting noise from reconstruction at the building I live in.  So, for fun I’m posting these two shots of a modular origami model I made a few years ago that was accidentally crushed in a briefcase recently. I thought it had a certain appeal even in its deconstruction.  Ah ha, I see that the surprise theme of the day is construction, deconstruction and reconstruction on large and small scales. The unconscious mind does not fail!

I have made visual art works all my life. Arts of May shows some of my explorations in different media and the inspiration I take from other artists and works. An earlier blog, of humans and nature, concentrates on my photographs of natural places that help my spirit.
